We shopped and shopped for a general purpose tractor. We decided Mahindra because of the value was head and shoulders above the competition. Ruby came to farm and went to work. I cut lanes in our nasty cutover. Brush, briars, hedges, small trees and everything in our path we cut. Several days and shear bolts later we clipped pasture. Ruby is impressing me more and more. Well God had some plans for us and a hobby for gardening boomed. The general purpose tractor is our go to row crop tractor. Our land had been overgrazed and poorly kept when purchased it 4 years ago. I bought a single shank subsoiler and got to it. Broke hard pan and shear bolts. I plowed the first plot in August the ground was pretty hard and I plowed as deep as the 14" two bottom would go. I pull 34" wide 6" tall beds with combo bedder. Most local growers use bigger tractors or smaller equipment. This tractor has been money well spent. We are happy to say we farm with Mahindra. The whole group from dealer to Chuck ( I think) the engineer in Texas has been great to deal with. I called Houston about a question that is not common and they put withan engineer who helped me. I am beyond pleased at the commitment to service. I have videos and pictures of what we do and will continue document our farm and Ruby's role in keeping it rolling on Facebook pages reyer farms.
