Mahindra USA, Inc. has committed tractors and equipment worth $100,000 to FEMA to aid with the Hurricane Katrina clean-up efforts and reconstruction in New Orleans and affected Gulf Coast.

Mahindra USA, Inc. has committed tractors and equipment worth $100,000 to FEMA to aid with the Hurricane Katrina clean-up efforts and reconstruction in New Orleans and affected Gulf Coast. Additionally, the company will match every employee donation to the American Red Cross to provide additional hurricane relief funds.

'Mahindra USA wishes to express our deepest sympathy to all those impacted by Hurricane Katrina,' said Derek Johannes, president of Mahindra USA, Inc. 'Mahindra and our employees want to help those in need. We have posted the donated equipment to the U.S. Department of Homeland Security Resource Registry so that it is readily available when needed. The Mahindra tractors and equipment will not only be available to assist with the Hurricane Katrina clean-up effort but also to help with future needs as well.'
