Before buying the Mahindra 1000C, I tried every ATV made looking for the best ride – Polaris, Kubota, Kawasaki, Artic Cat. When Mahindra came out with the XTV and we took it for a ride, we were amazed by how well it rode. It rides so smooth. You can go in holes – the suspension is so good, you don't even feel it. The vehicle is really comfortable and a lot quieter than other utility vehicles. It drives great, and it has better-made seats.
The Mahindra has big cup holders, too. On the Polaris, the cup holders hardly hold anything.
We have a lot of acreage, and the 1000C is great to ride fences. You can pull a spreader or seeder behind it. You can feed cattle out of it. If you have a water leak, you can put all your tools in the back and you have what you need right there. You can put a big round bale on the back – you can't do that in a Polaris. It's great for transportation and general work.
We got the six-seater because our kids and grandkids live here too. That way, we don't have to drive a car around the property and we don't have to worry about getting stuck.
I like the design of the machine and it has done us real well. We've been enjoying it. The 1000C makes it easy to get around. You can have all your stuff in the back if you need to do something.
We purchased our XTV from J5 Tractors, where we also purchased a 100-horsepower Mahindra tractor. Richard and Tracy Johnson are exceptional pillars of our community. They have a great business and a good work ethic.

Review:

I really like the big bed [70” by 60”] on the Mahindra 750L. I debated a while whether to go for a model with the dump feature [Mahindra's electric power box lift, standard on models with a regular-length bed], but I decided having the length would serve me better. I have not been disappointed with my choice at all. When I'm out fixing fences, I can put 6-foot fence posts right in the bed along with a big box of fencing tools and a chainsaw, and I still have room for more.
The roominess of the bed allows me to use the Mahindra to do jobs like putting out feed for the cattle. It saves a lot of wear and tear on my pickup. Now, about the only time I drive my pickup is when I have to get out on the highway. I even got a roof, windshield and rearview mirror for the XTV.
The hauling and towing capacity of the Mahindra were both important to me. I have a welder I may tow with it, and I'm fixing to get a wood splitter. We had some logging done here, and I can pull right into the woods with the Mahindra and not have to back the timber out on a tractor bucket.
The acceleration on the Mahindra is a lot more like the acceleration on a car than it is on competing brands. It's much easier to maintain your speed and go at the speed you want to go than it was on the Yamaha Rhino I used to use on my job.

When I saw the XTV, I knew it was exactly what I needed for my property. I liked that the tilt bed was standard, because with other manufacturers that's an option. The tilt bed is really handy when we're trimming trees; it's like a little dump truck. We've hauled all kinds of things in it when we are working around the property – tools, brush, even a bucket load of dirt.
One thing I like is that it's really powerful. I have a dirt pile that's really steep, probably a 70 percent grade. That XTV will walk right up it and never even change its rpm.
The XTV has two hitches standard, a receiver in the front and the back, and that is a nice feature. I have a little 5-by-8 flatbed trailer I pull with the XTV.
My wife loves it. The first day I had it, she operated it while we were trimming trees and she was like a dump truck operator. She didn't have any experience with it. I just showed her how to put it in gear, what button to push, and that was it.

I chose the Mahindra because it has good clearance [12 inches] and it is very roomy in the cab. It has three seats instead of two like most side-by-sides have. It also has bigger tires than other brands [27" ATV tires on 14" aluminum wheels].
The bed is wider than on the Kubota I used to own, so you can haul more stuff – more hunting gear or tools. I looked at several brands before buying the Mahindra, including the Kawasaki Mule, Honda, and Ranger.
I liked that it came standard with two hitches because I will use it for towing. It's nice having the capability to put the hitch in the front. I like that feature.
Overall, I felt the Mahindra offered the most value for the price

So far I'm just shy of 18 hours on this Mahindra 3016 Shuttle w/ industrial bar tires. Its done all I've asked it to do. Moved snow with 6 foot back blade and 115 loader bucket ( and we had a bunch of it this year), Mowed grass ( 72" belly mower), Drug logs out of the woods and with a fork attachment lifted some pretty big pieces of tree (rear tires filled). Seems to have lots of power, tire chains made it go a lot better on the ice and snow, just had some on the front will probably ad rear chains next winter if its as severe as this last one was. Lots of power. Seems very well built. A big plus is there is lots of things attached to the tractor that are made in USA. I picked this over the Kubota purely based on the weight of the tractor. The Mahindra was 700#s heavier than the similar sized Kubota I was looking at, that's a lot more built in weight which is a good thing on a tractor. Also I like the shuttle transmission and Kubota only offered hst in a tractor that would take a mid mount mower deck. I guess I'm old fashion but the manual gears seem a lot better than the hydrostatic style transmissions. Lock it in gear and go. Starts up easy. When I went to look at this tractor it was buried under a couple feet of snow. They dug it out, cycled the glow plugs 3 times, it started right up and ran nice and smooth. I've only ever cycled the glow plugs once and it starts right up with no problems and we had some very cold weather this year and it was kept outside. So far so good with no problems.

Pros:
Starts easy, Well built, plenty of power, Easy to use,
Cons:
Horn would be nice, No built in toolbox,

I have only had my tractor a few months but so far it has done everything I asked. The backhoe seems very powerful. In Arizona the earth is very tuff and rocky. Usually, to dig into it an electric jack hammer is required. The Max 25 backhoe cut thru it like warm butter! I want to get a canopy for it to shade me while I work. Only one suggestion, I wish it had a cup or bottle holder for water. All in all a very well built and useful machine.

we love our tractor. It gets the job done. Before we bought the tractor from Wade Debrick we were worried that it wasn't big enough to do the job. Review:

I have only put 10 hours on my tractor but . . . here goes. I purchased a package deal including Max 22, MMM, FEL, BB, tiller, and 16' Falcon Lowboy trailer. Things I don't like: the ground clearance especially with MMM onboard is such that when loading the trailer I must jack the front completely up, block the back and then slowly drive onto the trailer and the MMM still drags some. Also, even though the MMM has several settings, it doesn't truly travel up and down much with the lifting of 3PTH hydraulics - I wish it provided more. I don't like the jerky hydraulics. No matter how I adjust the flow the control on both 3pth and FEL seem to be too touchy, nearly all or nothing. The last bit of bad taste is rust. I like the metal body parts but I think more attention to detail would be nice, a touch more paint at joints, brackets, and ends would stop this bit of rust. Now the good, the stuff I love. This thing is a powerful, full feature, solid little tractor. Everything I wanted at a very reasonable price. 4WD works flawlessly, locking differential makes a world of difference, Steering is tight and turning radius is super small. Red is my favorite color, diesel engine starts quick and runs smooth. MMM is tremendous, can get scalpy but like anything attention to detail helps. The FEL actually seems to dig deeper than advertised but with industrial tires on wet grass it was hard to get started - but fun none the less. Tiller and tiller action is beast mode on this tractor. I am tilling up mostly clay down this way and so far this thing won't stop. The speeds this tractor works in and travels in are safe and appropriate. You just don't need to go any faster on a tractor. Overall I am happy with my purchase. I wonder if putting a set of Max 28XL tires on this Max 22 would solve my clearance problems?

The 3016 HST was my second Mahindra Tractor. It is a very reliable tractor and I would highly recommend it to anyone. The front loader has more power than you would believe. I have the backhoe as well and have no complaints. I have used it to dig up several stumps and so forth. I do recommend the quick attach option on the front loader. I can quickly switch out the bucket for the forks if necessary. Mark Stevens of Old Dominion Tractor was very helpful and honest in selecting the tractor.

Love this tractor!! Big, heavy, powerful, work horse of a tractor. Went from several compact tractors up to this full size utility tractor and will never go back. This tractor is very comfortable and easy to use. My first shuttle transmission and love it as well. Greenes trailer and equipment, out of Sneedville TN, was fantastic from the buying process, delivery, and any questions or concerns that I have had they have been spot-on. Lift capacity is one of the big selling points for me on this tractor, nothing worse than needing something lifted or moved and your tractor just doesnt have enough to do it, not so with the 5530.

Great little tractor. Would like a skid steer system for the loader. Much easier to switch implements. Change the seat to light grey color like the wheels, cooler in the summer sun and have it flip forward to drain and protect from rain and sun.
Hard to fill fuel without spilling over hood. Need a dealer in western Colorado. Utah dealer is really an RV dealer and isn't focused on selling tractors as first priority.

I purchased my Mahindra not knowing what to expect. I thought it was a lot of money for the small farm I operate but It has more than met my expectations, It maneuvers quite well in tight places and is more than enough tractor to operate my old Ford bailer, tiller, plows or rake on the hills of my farm. I have no complaints so far and pray that continues. I have heard complaints that so and so had this or that problem , but have not been able to substantiate any of these claims. I would make the purchase again if I needed to. I wish I had another Mahindra along with the back hoe attachment it would make my work a lot easier. I can honestly recommend this model after a year and a half of service with no problems.

Very manuverable, plenty of power, fuel efficient, ease of handeling, excellent tractor.

I have used Kabota, New Holland, John Deer and Ford, all in the compact tractors. None of the tractors had the power ratio that Mahindra has. New Holland had little power for such a heavy machine, John Deer seems like it has a lot of cheap parts- my friend just bought his JD and he is disappointed after trying out my Mahindra. My 3616 4wd has not disappointed me. In fact it does a lot more than I expected. Features and warranty cant be beat. My only complaint is that I cant keep my wife off of it.

Pros:
lifting power, ease of use with the HST,, ergonomically friendly, the warranty is great, the price great compared to other tractors

Absolutely love this tractor. Only wish I had bought it sooner. Have used it to clear some downed trees, brush and rocks in the woods to form a cart and ATV trail. Also used my backhoe to dig up stumps and good sized rocks which were in the way. I've really been impressed with how powerful this tractor is. It's made life much easier and takes only minimal time to get these jobs done.

Having no experience at operating a tractor with a backhoe and loader it's extremely easy to use and the manuals that come with it are very helpful and informative.

This tractor is the perfect size for my 2.5 acre camp and will handle anything I need to do because it's well-built, reliable and hard-working.

Purchased this Mahindra 4025 after my Iseki TU1900 developed a non repairable motor issue. I have always purchased used tractors and intended to do the same again. I went to the Mahindra dealer just to see what was out there and was impressed with the Mahindra line (I was aware of them for some time) and discussed issues with RnF dealer. The offer I was made was excellent and I purchased this tractor and loader with only 22 hours on it. It had been used by the dealer to load mulch onto the trucks of customers. After these few months, of heavy usage, I find it an awesome and very user friendly machine. I have owned larger and smaller tractors and I find this 4025 a good product. I am a small farmer with livestock and pastures. I also purchased a 6' medium duty mower which is excellent in performance.

Pros:
User friendly, comfortable ride, good power and great visibility,
Cons:
It is a heavy tractor so wet fields are an issue this wet summer. But not a great issue.

i am very happy with our new tractor. had looked at others but the 5010 had the modern look and the simplicity i was looking for. It is big enough to run all of our hay equpment but small enough to navigate tight areas, it works perfect, have had since end of june and have 20 hours on it with no concerns. My salesmen went out of his way to make sure i was getting what i needed not just what i wanted. had to locate and transport our tractor in and has checked on us several times after purchase. Great experience!

Pros:
runs my 5 foot disc mower with no problem, massey 12 baler and am sure a small round baler when we purchase one
Cons:
maybe should have went with the shuttle shift, definitely should have bought it at the first of hay season instead of middle it made a huge difference, was a little concerned the 5010 did not have a dual stage clutch like my old tractor but after using it i have no concerns

I have the 4 wheel drive 4035 pst with a loader. The pst tranny is very fast to shift from forward to reverse and makes loader work fast and easy. I am surprised at how well this tractor moves dirt and grades roads. very easy and comfortable to operate. Prior to buying i compared several brands. John Deere was he only brand close in performance and weight but costs several thousand more and did not have as good a warranty. I broke the seat adjustment lever(my fault) and had a leaking fuel line. The dealer picked it up at my house, repaired it and returned it. Great service. A sevice rep came to my house to check the california smog tag. While he was here he adjusted my tire pressure and had other hints including Mahindra fuel additive to make my tractor work better and last longer.
I have driven tractors for over 40 years and can not believe how well the Mahindra performs, and i move lots of dirt. I only have about 100 hours on it so i cant comment on long term repars but it is great so far

PS I dont like the owners manual at all

I originally looked at the 3016 Gear, but after driving the MAX 28 Shuttle Shift, I decided that the Max could handle all the work I was going to do for a lot less. I purchased the unit with a front loader,60" mid mount mower, Tiller, and 4' Roatatr cutter. Wish I had gone with the 5' Rotary cutter, but the 4' is OK. Most of the 30 + hours I have put on the machine have been with the mid-mount mower, as suspected, but the ease of removal of the FEL, I can cut close around trees and the house and outbuildings.

Pros:
VALUE, IMPLEMENTS, DRIVE OVER DECK, AND EASE OF FEL REMOVAL/REPLACEMENT
Cons:
DID NOT KNOW THE MAX 28 DID NOT COME WITH THE DRAWBAR HEIGHT CUT SETTING, AND WAS DISSAPOINTED IT DID NOT

I have not operated a tractor in about forty years. This tractor is very easy to operate, and I was using it with in a few minuets of unloading it at my home, moving dirt piles around. This is the first tractor I have owned. I did a lot of research on tractors before I bought the Mahindra Max 28XL 4WD HST. I was a little nervous about purchasing a Mahindra because there is not a Dealer in Alaska, but after talking to a few people about Mahindra my fears went away. I bought the tractor with a Front 52" Snow Blower and a 58" Rototiller, a set of forks.

I am very please with this purchase and when I need another Tractor it will be a Mahindra.

After only 20 hours operating time I am fully satisfied with performance and reliability of my new tractor. Anxious to put it through its paces I've run all the implements I purchased including the front end loader and have found no limitations. I can't remember when the last time I made such a purchase brought such a smile to my face.

Pros:
Easy to operate. Forgiving for the part time user. Great Warranty.

Great tractor great warranty the guys from G an M did a good job not pushing the tractor they let it sale its self. I told them what I wanted out of the tractor an they put me on the 4025 4 WD with a front end loader unbelievable at the strength an power that this tractor produces does everything they said it would do an then some. Machinery went above an beyond on the front end loader it is one of the strongest I've seen on a farm tractor from the hydraulics to the mounting system. The 4wd is nice provides that extra little bit when you need it. The axels an drive train are heavy duty puts any other to shame when you see the size of them an compare it to let's say New Holland it will shock you at the difference. From bush hogging to moving hay feeding the animals couldn't have made a better buy.

Pros:
warranty,heavy duty.all steel metal body,heavy great traction,strong
Cons:
paint fades after some time but paint dont make the tractor

I told my husband to buy a tractor for snow removal after a very heavy snow fall last December. He did lots of research (as usual) and chose a Mahindra from Dave's Tractor in Red Bluff, California. As recommended by someone, we had EXCELLENT service from Dave's.

Then came Spring and I started using it to clear brush from our heavily forested ten acres. I fell in love with it and won't let him use it if I'm home. It is so much fun to drive and so very useful.

My only complaint is that you sent him a limited edition hat and didn't send one to me! May I have one too?

I bought my Mahindra MaxXL 4WD Shuttle, after shopping around other dealers in the area.I checked the John Deere dealership, and they had a 27-28 hp tractor, but they wanted way too much$$$ for there tractors, and the same for for the Kobota tractors, and they didn't have the hp or all the implements I needed.I'm a DIYer,with only 3 acres, but my Mahindra Max-28 was the perfect fit to my needs and at the right price for my budget.
I went to the Dealership, told them my needs, and we walked out into the lot, picked out the right tractor for my needs. And the helped me pickout the right Implements and attachments to suit my needs. The staff at Mahindra of Clarksburg were very helpful and careing to me and all my needs, also the Financeing was perfect for my budget.Thank You Mahindra for building a strong, sturdy, and safe tractor.

Spent about 15 hours upon my new Max28XL 4x4 HST so far, and I love it!
I bought the MB63A hoe (with thumb) as well as the ML205 loader, and it is a very versatile package. Very powerfully little backhoe. I find that I dont need to rev the engine very hard at all to complete most tasks. The loader is even more impressive when it comes to lifting power.

If you are in the snowy states, take a look at the snow plow for the MAX series by Bercomac. All hydraulic, and runs off of the loader quick connects. There is a dealer video out on YouTube. I was able to pick it up for MUCH cheaper than adding a plow to my pickup.

0% for 84 months is rare in the SCUT market! JD and Kubota couldn't touch the deal Mahindra gave me. Awesome deal on a great lil machine!

I purchased my first Mahindra 60 hp in 2005 because it was cheaper then comparable models and the financing attractive and I needed something fairly quickly. Now 7 years later my reason for purchasing an even larger machine has changed somewhat. The Tractor is still somewhat cheaper in cost and financing is still attractive but the driving force behind my purchase was what I had learned over the past few years of working my red baby. Reliablity, ease of maintenance, strength, fuel usage and lack of breakdowns!!! These factors were why I came back for more. I have since purchase bushhogged , fed hay , cut, baled and raked hay. I am at present teaching my youngest daughter (14 years old) how to operate it safely as my father taught me. I LOVE my Mahindra's....Yes more than one as I kept the first one.

I was looking for a tractor with cab primarily for blowing snow. I checked out the competition and nothing compared in frame size and build in the 49 / 50 hp category. Interesting that the competition has no where near the warranty of Mahindra. From helping with choosing the right model to final delivery I could not have asked for better service from the guys at Great Lakes New Holland in Mitchell Ontario
The HST shuttle transmission makes moving this tractor a breeze and the 38 hp PTO is more than enough to really blow snow.
Can't wait to start a market garden - the secondary use.

Almost three years ago I purchased a Mahindra 2816 Shuttle with the loader attachment. it was my first tractor and to be honest I had no experience with a this type of machinery. My wife and I made the purchase to ease the cleanup of our future retirement property. For those those three years it performed beyond my expectations and left relatives and friends in awe with it lift and pull abilities, most were who custom to other manufacturers.

This past winter we need to take down some larger trees. As usual the 2816 performed well, but I realized that a larger tractor would better suit future needs. So, my wife and I again made the trip to our Mahindra dealer. We looked at the selection and quickly became attracted to the 5035. With it's large operating station, lift capacity, and standards features, it did not take long to arrange a delivery date (next day). I think what shocked us the most was the trade in value of our 2816. It's depreciation was only 20%.

After delivery of the 5035 I quickly put it to use to dig up some concrete footers. This beast did not back down from the challenge. It's amazing strength was notice by the onlookers and quickly emailed to other family members.

We did purchase an after market root rake, which takes less than a minute to connect. With this attachment I was able to lift the longest footer (16') into a nearby dumpster.

This 5035 HST is a GORILLA with hand controls!

Pros:
Large control station, seat, lifting strength, the HST is the way to go after owning a Shuttle.
Cons:
It has a small tool box.

I bought the Mahindra after looking for the right fit. My first choice was a Kubota BX series, but was disappointed with the size, quality and capacities of the BX, so I went to my #2 choice, the Deere 1026R and again, found it to be a disappointment. While looking for the Deere I also saw the big red Mahindra's at the dealership selling new. I tried an 1816, which I found nice, but was disappointed to learn the blower was rear mounted. The owner told me the new Max series was almost the same, had more horsepower and had a front mount blower. The fit was good so I bought the Max 22.

I have 60 hours on her now and am completely pleased with my choice. The lift capacity of 900 pounds is about right, although I wish it was just a bit more. The built quality is excellent and using it in the woods gives you a lot of confidence when you are slamming around in the rocks and stumps. All the fenders are hood are steel, thank god because the plastics on the kubota or Deere would already need replacing.

The engine is very strong, runs smoothy and is moderate in terms of noise. The air filter is easy to get to for regular cleaning. The oil filter is a bit difficult to get to cleanly to get a filter wrench on it, but it is not impossible. Removing the sides to check the oil is kind of a poor design, but it is not at all difficult. The 3pt hitch is awesome, with a high load capacity it gives me a lot of versatility when strapping logs to the makeshift bar I set up between the 3pt hitch pins.

I have added a soft cab, a rear finish mower and a snow blower. I also keep a weight box on whenever the loader is on. It makes a world of difference. The large wheels give tremedous amount of traction especially on hills and in the leaves and dirt in the woods. I also use aRatchet Rake for clearing slash and debris.

I have a friend who bought the 1026R and we got together to play. He wishes he had the capacity and strength of the Max 22, but he is still a Deere man, no matter how much better my tractor is. I also got together with another friend with a bx25. There is no comparison. His tractor isn't a tractor at all when compared to the Max22.

Pros:
Strength, Build materials and quality, looks.
Cons:
Oil filter location and accessability, dip stick location

I had a 2008 3215 HST that was a great tractor, just too small for what I needed. After working with Kris Liles at Straub International in Salina, KS I got a GREAT trade in value for it. I moved into the 5035 HST because of the lifting capabilities. I am a huge fan of the HST and for what I do around the barns I need the control. With a bum knee the clutch work isn't fun. I stayed with Mahindra because of the workmanship and value. I cannot say enough about Kris and Straub Int. While I have nowhere near the hours I would like to have (yet) I know I won't be disappointed. I move 1800 lb bales and have no problem with the loader and power. The only downside is the rear is just a tad light. I do not what to fill the tires so a ballast box is in order.

I got a good deal on this tractor being a year old on the lot. I needed a cab tractor because of my allergies when I mow or do dirtwork. When you walk up to this tractor you would think it's too small to get any real work done, but don't let it fool you.

Overall:

Great little tractor, and in the 100 degree heat that we have in Texas, I was mowing in 70 degree a/c weather. Put a 72" or 84" finishing mower behind this thing, and you can throw away that zero-turn or riding mower. I'll save you the shopping time: the comparable 3520 John Deere is $36k, I picked the Mahindra 3616 up for $21k with a loader.

Pros:
Plenty of power, great traction, good visibility out the cab, quiet, good suspension, turning radius is incredible, small enough to get under and around trees, doesn't tear up sod on turns, price, price, oh and price.
Cons:
1) There is a wierd noise that occurs in tight turns within the cab, I can't hear it from the outside. Haven't figured out what it is yet.

We shopped and shopped for a general purpose tractor. We decided Mahindra because of the value was head and shoulders above the competition. Ruby came to farm and went to work. I cut lanes in our nasty cutover. Brush, briars, hedges, small trees and everything in our path we cut. Several days and shear bolts later we clipped pasture. Ruby is impressing me more and more. Well God had some plans for us and a hobby for gardening boomed. The general purpose tractor is our go to row crop tractor. Our land had been overgrazed and poorly kept when purchased it 4 years ago. I bought a single shank subsoiler and got to it. Broke hard pan and shear bolts. I plowed the first plot in August the ground was pretty hard and I plowed as deep as the 14" two bottom would go. I pull 34" wide 6" tall beds with combo bedder. Most local growers use bigger tractors or smaller equipment. This tractor has been money well spent. We are happy to say we farm with Mahindra. The whole group from dealer to Chuck ( I think) the engineer in Texas has been great to deal with. I called Houston about a question that is not common and they put withan engineer who helped me. I am beyond pleased at the commitment to service. I have videos and pictures of what we do and will continue document our farm and Ruby's role in keeping it rolling on Facebook pages reyer farms. Thank you Mahindra, and Tony/ Randy @ the Tractor Store for all your help.

I purchaced a new 6010 HST Cab HST Cab in March of 2012. I love the tractor. The price was better than other compairable brands with the same features. The standard warranty is 2 years longer than the others.
Has plenty of power. Easy to operate.
My only disappointment is the HVAC system. I live in Texas...it's hot here in the summer, on those 100+ degree days, the AC system might get the cab down to 95...90 if you're really lucky. For $32,000, you'd think the AC system would cool like a new car, but it doesn't. Even the manual states that it should cool to 20 degrees below the ambient temp. It doesn't. If you're mowing a field or creating any dust, you have to blow out the radiator and condensor every hour or so, or you lose the AC altogether.
the only other issue I have had was the condensation lines in the roof of the cab for the AC system have kinked twice on me and had to have the dealer pick it up and fix it each time. My thanks to the dealer, they have been very good about taking care of these issues. It seems that there is a design flaw in the way these lines are placed in the roof, and others have had the same problem as well.

So far I love my tractor with loader. Ive got around 6 acres of yard grass to keep mowed and about 25 acres of pasture that I bush hog a few times a year. I hardly ever hear the engine bog and I mow some pretty thick stuff. I previously owned a tractor (much older) in the 48hp PTO range, so I was a little worried about power moving down. It is noticeable a little honestly but not so much that it makes a dramatic difference. Oh and if you are worried about using the shuttle, if you have ever used a gear drive tractor, shuttle is like eating cake and ice cream. I didnt go with hydrostatic only because I wasnt sure if I needed it, and I didnt. You may find that you desire hydrostatic, I tested it out and it did fine, I just prefer shuttle. I believe if you are a landowner in the 5-10 acre range, plant food plots, do landscaping projects of any size, this tractor beats the rest. I started out looking at John Deere and Kubota, you see where I ended up. Do not pass your mahindra dealership when shopping for a tractor. Try one out, I guarantee you will like it.

Pros:
Price, quality, features, comfort, ease of use,
Cons:

Service of Oil Filter, Dipstick location, (no fluid in FWD when delivered), strange noises from right hub, sloppy fit of FEL, FEL hydraulic lines are behind a sharp step, with no guard, brush guard needs improvement, flimsy hood latch mechanism inside hood; it bends easily, no underneath guards, unshielded rear blinkers, plastic fenders break easily. Sucks lots of diesel in cutter operation, needs longer pedal on rear wheel lock, needs relocation of step on bucket control side of Tractor, [move it forward], brush guards on all hoses, flimsy yoke guard on front drive shaft.

I don't think anyone could put a Tractor (3616), through an any more rigorous workout as I can. I USE this Tractor; I don't pet it. I clear brush, push down trees, (4-5" dia), load gravel, dig stumps, build wilderness road in 4WD operation, move large tree trunks and have dug a small pond. . . One tough Tractor.

I am very impressed with my 3616 as I press it to the the limits of it's performance. I may have bought a smaller tractor than I needed, but was assured it would do the job. As far as Cons go, I have had to straighten out the hood latch plate under the hood, (limb came through brush guard and pushed hood up), straighten out pin that holds headlight grill by hood release, blinker light broke off, straighten out yoke guard on front drive shaft, install a rubber hose guard on FEL control hoses and quick tie hoses together, grease the rattling pins and 'sets' that hold FEL to frame. Had to buy special oil filter wrench for oil filter change, (should be included), [50 hr service].

Would I buy another one? You bet! Can't beat the Price vs Performance. Over-all, in spite of what I have listed as Cons, Mahindra builds one tough little Tractor.

I push my Mahindra to its limit and it never fails to impress. I cut, raked and baled over 40 acres of native hay last year. All with my Mahindra. This year will be even more. I can make a 5 foot tall round bale and then load it on my trailer. Not bad for a "compact tractor". People can't believe it until they see it. I do everything with this tractor and it doesn't even rut up the lawn. In January of this year I broke my leg pretty bad and my wife was left with all the chores on the farm. Thank god we had our Mahindra. It was easy for her to move the hay around to feed our sheep and also to clear the 4 + feet of snow we get here. I often commented on how good she looked on red. Even in our cold winters it starts up everytime. In a few years it will be time to upgrade and a Mahindra is the only tractor I'm looking at.

Pros:
Great warranty and tough as nails.
Cons:
Only wished I would have went a little bigger so I could get even more done.

I have enjoyed using my 5035 HST for the last year. It is the best peice of equipment I have ever owned. My last tractor was a Mahindra 6530 and this tractor even with less HP seems to do more with better ease of use. The HST works flawlessly and makes loader/grapple work a breeze. I can not image there is any other tractor brand that can come close to the functionality, durability and reliability in this price range.

I love the new 6110 Shuttle Cab w/ a cab. i just have a couple of issues that i wish they could find a solution to.
The gap between the Radiator and the AC condensor is too wide apart the air flow does not go through the condensor and in turn does not let the ac cool very well. It need to be blocked off to suck the air through the condensor to get the best affect it also needs a fan to force the air throught the condensor for the fan on the tractor can pull it through the radiator. Also the reserve in the top of the cab that drains the water out is not tall enough so it rains inside the cab. through the dome light and down the post inside the cab. This i am sure will ruin the liner of the cab dome light and possibley the radio.
The Tractor is great in every other aspect, very easy on fuel great power and very easy to operate.

Pros:
Performance is great, Great Power, Easy on fuel usage.
Cons:
Cons AC problems, water in the cab from reserve running over, gap between radiator and ac condensor.

I've had this tractor for a couple of months now. I got the tractor with a front end loader and a new 5' brush hog. The tractor has plenty of power. The loader bucket seems bigger than most and has handled everything I have thrown at it. My field used to take 6 hours on my old Ford. This Mahindra got it done in 3 hours. Overall I am quite pleased. This tractor does have an issue with PTO engagement. It is a really hard starting son of a gun and thus eats sheer pins. I am told there is a retrofit kit for this. If this were fixed this tractor would have five stars in my book.

Power, capability

I plan on using it for haying in the future. The wife and I decided we wanted a tractor tat could handle any implement out there. The only con is I did not order one with a cab. The next one will. My brother and I set out to buy a 80 plus horsepower tractor. Our criteria were 4wd, loader bucket, ease of maintenance, dual remotes, good warranty and dealer and a heavy tractor. We spent weeks researching , driving and comparing tractors of the same class. We analyzed and compared Mahindra,Massey, JD, NH, Kubota and Case IH. Too our surprise, the Mahindra had the best warranty, outweighed all other tractors by at least 700 pounds and had more features and easy financing. It was clearly the superior value and has proven itself in the field. We use it to pull a 15' batwing, transport 2000# roll bales, do heavy tillage and it handles everything wiith no problem. My friends have been impressed enough to buy 3 more Mahindras and rave about them as well! The only thing I regret is we didn't buy two of them.

Pros:
Performance, warranty, weight, style, most bang for your buck

We were in the market for a zero turn and always wanted a larger tractor for cutting 5 acres, we ended up buying both from Bill's Tractor, the staff was great and they delivered as promised with no problems. I got a shredder, box blade and a disc and the 4025 with loader, the best investment and we ended up with the zero turn gravely, they work awesome, strong machine and the best value for your hard earned money, I looked at Deere and Ford and the 4025 was the best for me. My brother-in-law has the C27, older model and to this day it cranks up everytime that I had to use it. He has 200 hrs on his and I'm sure mine will have the long life service. The price that Deere would cost just tractor and shedder, I got the whole package and more for the same price.
I ordered 6 loads of road base and it took me 5 hours to spread out, tractor worked bad ass!

This is my second Mahindra tractor. I had purchased a new 2004 2615 HST 4wd. It was a great tractor. I had no problems with it what so ever. When I decided to get a larger tractor, I did the same as with the 2615 and compared to the other guys. Just as before, the Mahindra was a heavier, better built and better priced unit.

The 2010 5035 4wd is perfect for what I do, which is bush hogging, cleaning horse barn, moving hay, and some landscaping type work. It is compact enough to get into the barn with, just lower the ROPS. The turning radius is unbelievable for a 50 hp tractor! The low profile and width of the tractor extremely stable when bush hogging. The weight of the tractor and reach of the loader makes it very stable for loading/unloading round bales on/off a deck over trailer. The extendable lower arms makes hooking attachments a breeze, even by yourself. I did go with shuttle shift this time instead of HST. No problems with HST before, just wanted little extra hp at pto.

I purchased the tractor from Mountain Farm International Inc. in Crossville, TN. They were not the closest dealer, (about 100 miles away) but gave me the best deal. The service after the sell has been unbelievable! The owner, salesman and entire staff have always gone out of their way to assist me in anything I have needed. You would have thought I bought a dozen of the most expensive
tractors on the lot! It has been well worth that extra drive...Don't know which to brag on the most, the tractor or the dealer.

Pros:
Usable power, easy shuttle shift, great turning radius, perfect combination of weight, width, and low profile. Extendable lower arms. Loader very easy to use.
Cons:
None so far!

I spent over a year searching for just the right tractor, and i kept returning to the Mahindra website staring at a 2216 4WD w/ loader and soft cab. I test drove one in the fall of '10, and after that, it was almost an obsession until I finally bought it. I am continually impressed with the capability of this machine and how easy it is to operate. I've moved gravel, spread topsoil, repaired driveways, pushed over small trees, pulled a neighbors dock out....all with a smile on my face. This is one potent tractor. It is truly amazing what you can do in low range and 4WD with this little beast. I purchased a 5' snowblower with the tractor, now i can hardly wait for winter!

PS..My 2 year old daughter demands that i take her for a ride almost every day.

Pros:
easy starting, powerful hydraulics, SERIOUS torque in low range, quiet running and fuel efficient (approx. $1.50 per hour when i was moving dirt)

After researching equipment, cost versus durability, I finalized my search with the purchase of this unit. I have typically been a John Deere man but I will have to say the Mahindra equipment is not only simple to operate and maintain, but is constructed of quality materials (castings/sheet metal). The ease of the the shuttle shift to the quick adjustments of the lift for attachments makes this an enjoyable piece of equipment to operate, and last but not least, the safety features allow me to let my 13 year old son, operate it solo with out any supervision. How ever there are a few issues of assembly and design, with a little tweeking, will make this a very compatible machine.

Pros:
Shuttle shifting, three-point stabilizers, stage 1 & 2 hitch balls incorperated, ease of steering, foot speed control, simplicity of operation, power of the engine.
Cons:
Position of steering wheel, doesn't have tilt wheel, doesn't have pull dip stick, High-Low range shifter placement interferes with dismounting, seat is poorly designed and mounted (after 29 hours, all 4 mounting nuts came off of seat, almost fell off), wiring harnesses not mounted securely.

This tractor is a beast! Other that my wife it's the best investment I've made. Not knowing any thing about Mahindra when I was looking for a tractor, I did a lot of research and learned a lot about the competition and for the price this was a bargain. It out classed the others by a long way and I saved thousands of dollars.
In our part of north central Idaho we have a vast temperature expanse and this thing never hesitates to start or shift. Even when it's 15 below it started right up with out the preheater. Thats because I didn't know how it worked at the time.
If Im mucking out the corrals or plowing snow this thing never ceases to amaze me and we get a lot of snow.
It's very simple to operate, it has the right speeds for pulling a baler and smooth enough for doing tedious work around buildings or fence posts. It's also very comfortable to sit and operate. All the controls are conveniently located and easy.
I purchased this machine from Scott at Cascade Equipment in Spokane Wa and he has been very good to work with. Even when mine needed some work done he brought another down from Spokane because he said he wouldn't leave me without a tractor. And thats a 2 and a half hour haul. Our John Deere and Case-New Holland dealer 12 miles away wouldn't even do that. I know this because a lot of people have them and know the history. I would strongly suggest buying from him. Service is exceptional.

Pros:
Easy start, comfort, ease of operation, lots of power and traction and great lifting capacity and reach. Not having to worry about dumping every thing on the hood. Glow plugs and preheat work great. I get many complements on how good it looks and the guys that have drove it are really impressed.
Cons:
Bucket hydraulics are a little slow. The casting on the control valve was a problem and the little snap ring kept blowing out but Mahindra stood behind it and fixed it. The ignition key is in a bad location because when I turn to watch behind me I hit it with my knee and shut the engine off.

I purchased this tractor to use on our cattle farming operations. I use it with round bale spikes (front and back simultaneously), 10' shredder, 8' disc (and 8' drag harrow simultaneously), 6' rear blade, and 10' drill. The front bucket is indispensible, luckily our place is located along the sandy river bottoms of the Brazos River, where mesquite trees flourish. The front bucket easily digs into the sand allowing me to pull up the mesquite by the roots, trees as big as 2 to 3 inches, roots as deep as 3 or 4 feet. Larger trees require more digging, but with a little experience, they are also removed. Of course this is no match for a back-hoe or dozer, but I must say I was surprised at first, and have been 110% satisfied with the versitilty of my Mahindra. It also does a good job dragging my Gopher Machine, gophers used to be a "rough" problem. Only downfall with my 7520 4WD is it is too tall to shred under many pecan trees and the exhaust pipe sticks up in the air allowing it to catch limbs and probably get broken or bent. But this problem was easily solved, I bought a smaller Mahindra 3525 with exhaust underneath alongwith a 5' shredder, now shredding under the trees is much easier. Lastly, if you have a choice between a 2WD and a 4WD tractor, get the 4WD, you don't always need it but when you do you are really glad to have it. I know I am.

Here in Eastern Ohio we have seen cold and snow from about the first of the year and the day the tractor was to be delivered we had about 4" of new snow and I live back off the main road and the truck that was bring the tractor got stuck, Mahindra to the rescue. It helped the dual wheel 4 X 4 and trailer up the hill. Also has started easy even in single digits temperatures.
I have never had a hydro trans before but is realy nice for blade and loader work.

Pros:
The machine looks to be able to out work it's hp range. Nice clean deck
Cons:
light switch is allways getting bumped on with knee. No work light to rear

WOW. What a tractor. I owned a 25hp gray market tractor before this one but there is no comparison. This is a tough tractor that does more than you ask of it. It will work as hard and as long as you and do it with ease. I have been able to do more work in ten hours on this tractor than I could do in 10 days on the other. I bought it with the front in loader and it is a real work hourse. I looked at Mahindra because My son had one.

Many. An outstanding tractor

32.5 hours on my 5035 w/ML 130 FEL as of late November 2010 in the Georgia piedmont. Very happy with it and lotsa fun! Plenty of power and all implements have been very easy to hook up (by myself) with the flexible (extendable) lower links!

Implements: 6' rotary mower, 6' rotary tiller, 5 ft. bog harrow, 8'x10'chain drag harrow, 6' rollover box blade, 7 shank chisel plow. Soil type is sandy loam with some clay. Terrain is rolling hills/flat. Rotary mowing and food plot prep has consumed most of my time so far.

No problems whatsoever and no issues. I flipped the lights on the ROPS to face to the rear. They were too bright for night work.

Dealer support from Lott Enterprises has been superb from day one. I'm a first time tractor owner, but have driven several in the past. The shuttle shift has been easy to learn/use even with the FEL-(But,I grew up using a clutch on many vehicles.)

Friends have been "wowed". A couple others have shown green/blue/orange snobbish disdain. Effum! This is a great tractor!

Pros:
Power, ease of 3 pt hookups, operator ergonomics, comfort, adjustable seat/control column, engine smoothness

I've had my Mahindra 3 years and have 120 hours on it, but it still looks and drives like it did the day I purchased it. I use it for mowing, digging, moving dirt and to work a large garden, I have never had a problem with it and will buy another one when I move up to a 4 wheel drive. You can't buy another brand that is built as heavy and has all the features as the Mahindra tractor.Plus, it's a great looking tractor!!

Pros:
With the front end loader, I can coplete most work around the house and save my back!
Cons:
none whatsoever!

This is a great little tractor. Very manuverable in tight areas. I use it to maintain 2.5 acres of sloped land. I cut brush, repair roads, transport bulk grains, dirt, and rock with ease. I have a 5'box scraper that I equiped with a "top & tilt" feature and I can do all sorts of grading and Digginf around the property. I am extremely satisfied with this versatile and powerful little tractor. I would highly recommend one for the small property owner.

Pros:
Powerful, versatile, manuverable, easy to perform maintenance on.

Tool box would be a great standard piece of equipment.

This is by far one of the best tractors on the market of any brand for the money, ease of use, ruggedness, and well built. It is under rated in terms of actual strengths and power. I have about 15 hrs of ops on it so far, mostly clearing away old fallen trees and thick brush from Hurricane Rita damage on my farm, and underbrushing with a bushhog. The combination of the strong front end loader, weight, and 4wd makes this tractor almost equal to a small dozer. I also have an older gasoline Ford tractor w/FEL that would not even budge some of the trees and brush that this tractor did not even begin to strain to completely push away in 2wd. The only fault I have found so far is it is advertised to handle a 6' bushhog and it probably would if you only mow light grass or thin weeds. But if you have thick heavy Behaiha grass ( all of East Texas )and thick overgrowth it will barely handle a 5' which is what I have. It will bog down in heavy thick grass & weeds with a 5 footer, so I advise to anyone who may consider a package deal to only get a 5' bushhog in my opinion. It is also unbelievably fuel efficient, in 15hrs of hard use it has only used a little over 1/8 tank of fuel. I was beginning to wonder if the fuel gauge even worked!!! But it finally started to move off the full mark. You will also need a heavy duty Low-boy trailer with 8-ply trailer tires to haul it because it is VERY HEAVY, especially with the rear tires filled with water like mine. Do not try to haul it with regular type pickup tires or you will be on side of the road with a blowout!!

Pros:
Power, strong FEL, excellent layout of controls, love the shuttle-shift, best warranty in the business.
Cons:
Will not handle a 6' bushhog in heavy, thick grass or brush. Stick with a 5 footer and you will be alright.

Replaced an old 8n with this 25 horse power house. This tractor is great! I am very pleased with the size and performance of this little tractor. I was not sure this would pull the 5 foot brush hog, and 6 foot finish mower. The loader works well, and is easy to take off and put on. I would recommend this tractor. The shuttle shift is great, and if you are used to a gear tractor, no problem. No need for HST. Great value!

Pros:
Plenty of power, compact size, and great loader.
Cons:
No cup holder (ha) or tool box. I know you can't have it all, but a tool box for extra pins or a few tools would complete this tractor.

I can't say enough good about my tractor, I'm very please with it and have no regrets whatsover. I bought mine after looking and considering used Branson's, John Deere, Kubota, Kioti, Massey-Ferguson and McCormicks, all of the them great tractors in their own regards. I have to say that mine, a 3215 gear, 4wd with a loader is exactly what I wanted. I love my tractor. I bought mine with around 65 hours on it and have since added 20+ hours on it. I was a little apprehensive at first in that would it be powerful enough to do the work I bought it for and I haven't been disappointed at all. I've used it to clear old pasture that hasn't been farmed since the mid 1960's and it pushes up 5-6" diameter trees with no problem. The tractor is very fuel efficient, easy to operate, and maneuvers easily in tight spots. While doing nothing to deserve the criticism in the way of failure or problems, my only complaint is the seat. I feel that the seat could/should be more robust in the design of the seat frame. I'm only around 180 lbs. and on inclines it sqeaks and crackles a little in protest but it hasn't failed. I guess I had to say something negative so one might not think I'm a payed spokesman for Mahindra tractors.

Pros:
Fuel efficient, easy to maintain, operate, and maneuver. Good dealer support.
Cons:
Seat frame a little underbuilt.

Even though my tractor had all of 16 hours on it when I purchased it on line from Agri-Credit I listed it as new.
I use my tractor for custom bush hogging as well as around our property mowing pasture ect. Only one problem I have had with it is dragging off the lower portion of the exhaust and running it through the cutter. Mahindra has since redesigned the exhaaust so this won't happen on the newer 4025 that replaced the 3525.
I work my tractor at least 4 days a week. Not only would I recommend it to anyone needing a good solid tractor, I will tell you, my next tractor will be a 25 series Mahindra.

Pros:
Solid preformance day in and day out.
Cons:
I will also go with the cup holder and possibly a slower reverse speed. 5th gear is a more comfortable speed while mowing than 4th gear but reverse in the high side is wicked.

I shopped long & hard before I chose the 2816 HST. I drove many different makes/models in the process. This tractor fits me "like a glove"! I have received excellent service/assistance from Mahindra including a recent courtesy follow up call from India!

My tractor came with the ML106 loader, it works great. I use the loader, 4' bush hog, 9" post hole digger, trencher, 3-point single plow/trencher and 3-point boom lift. All with ease.

Mahindra offerred the best machine (for me) at far less $$ than any other manufacturers. I love tractors in general, but I wouldn't trade mine for any other.

Be sure & give Mahindra a look-see. By the way, no sales pressure was ever exerted by the dealer, they are genuine agriculture oriented good folks! I have had my tractor for almost a year now & still very happy with "Lil Red"!! (This review is not solicited and I am not getting paid for it.) WR

Purchased the tractor without a front end loader. Added it in 2009. The tractor has all the power I desired. Very functional and versitile. The shuttle shift and 12 gears are great. The syncro shift transmission and platform are very much better than a standard tractor. Plowing, discing and bush hogging have become more enjoyable less time consuming. My brother in law purchased a Massey Ferguson at the same time I purchased the this tractor. The performance from the Mahindra is dramatically better.
Maintenance is relativly easy.

Review:

I first saw Mahindra tractors during an extended business trip to India. We drove many miles cross country through agricultural areas and these tractors were everywhere. Driving up and down the roads, deep in the mud of rice fields; everywhere you might expect to see a tractor, there was a Mahindra being worked very hard. I saw them new, I saw them well used, I saw them missing hoods and fenders from extreme use. I did not see any parked or broken down. They all ran and all worked in this remarkable land. And they were everywhere. Hundreds of them. I wondered if they were sold in the USA.
So when my local dealer took on the line, I knew it was time to take a look at this rugged work horse. I have not been disappointed. Very heavy, sturdy and solid feeling. Nothing flimsy about this tractor. The loader has no trouble digging into heavy white rock or dirt and driving away. With a heavy blade on the rear, it can roll dirt and rock with ease. Pulling a bush hog or disc is just another farm implement. Hooking up to the tractor is normal. There is nothing here that is not familiar to me from using International, Ferguson, Ford, and other brands over many years. The only new feature for me is the 4WD, and it works great, putting the weight to use in a way 2WD tractors cannot equal. This is no light weight "toy" import nor is it an overly complicated and over priced gadget machine: this is a solid powerful tractor.
I am now looking at a slightly smaller tractor for steep hills and tighter spaces. It will most likely be a 5035. It will certainly be a Mahindra.

Pros:
Solid, heavy, rugged, good power curve. Looks nice, runs great, Priced really, really well. Super value.
Cons:
As with any complex machine, there will be some problems, but these are quite minor and require some thinking to come up with. The tools in the tool box were wet and rusty when delivered. This was ordered in and delivered promptly, so my dealer is blameless. The wrong manual came with the tractor, omitting 4WD information. Some lynch pins are used on the hitch retaining bolts that can be pulled out by brush when bush hogging. Bolts or locking pins need to be used in these locations. No significant problems.

This is my first tractor and I wish I had gotten one sooner. I didn't shop around too much as everything I read about size, weight and performance kept leading me to the Mahindra. Gray's gave me an excellent price and some additional incentives. We live in the snow belt east of Lake Ontario and get anywhere from 10 to 20 FEET of snow per season. This little tractor did a superb job last year with a 5 foot rear mounted blower. One storm dumped 3+ feet in less than a day and the 2516 chewed right through it. The loader will lift anything that will fit in it. I also use it for mowing with a 5 foot rear finish mower. I have kept rough track of the fuel consumption and that is another suprising benefit - about one gallon of diesel per hour under full working load. Haven't had any problems in the first year of ownership and couldn't be happier with the purchase. I'd give it a 5 if you made a cab for it.

Pros:
Power, fuel consumption, dependability
Cons:
No factory cab available (it's cold up here in January)

This tractor has done everything mahindra said it would and more. I have done a few jobs with its so far and its never failed me. The biggest job was filling in a inground swimming pool. I moved 100 yards of fill into the pool which the fill had to be dumped at the bottom of the hill due to the dump trucks not being able to get up the hill. The tractor had plenty of power to to get the fill where it needed to go. I also used the tractor to remove the 6 inch thick slab of concrete around the pool that was not broken up first i just got under the slab and lifted, i could not beleive how easy it just ripped it apart. It truly does lift more and weigh more than any other tractor in that hp range. I am currently re-grading and 1/4 mile long driveway that a bulldozer should be used for but this tractor is handling it with no problems.

Pros:
great lifting power

I currently have 230 hrs on my tractor and it has really stood the test. I'm from Hawthorne, CA and I never would have thought that I would ever own a tractor. I'm glad the Mahindra was my first. My previous job required me to project manage 80 chicken houses and the majority of the farmers had big John Deere tractors. Since I was new to the tractor world, I would sit and watch the farmers work their Deere's and I would ask a gang of questions.

I can honestly say that I have been able to do just about everything that they were doing with their 65hp, 75hp and 80hp tractors. I have a MACHINE! I even like the way it sounds.

Small but powerfull. Does everything I need it to do
Cons:
Hydrostatic transmition a little weaker that I thought it would be but not to bad.

I've ran heavy and farm equipment equipment most of my life. My wife and I purchased a new home on 1 1/4 acre. We had a lot of clearing and landscape work to do. Rental equipment wasn't really an option for us. So we started looking at compact tractors. I was so impressed with the Mahindra tractors; build more rugged, lifting capacity is much more than all of the other compact tractors. Once I started using the 1815, I could not believe what a work horse it truely is. It has been able to handle anything I've asked it to do and more. The most impressive feature about this tractor is, you can spread rock, dirt and take to a finish grade that is better than larger more expensive machines can not do. I have ran all of the other brands of compact tractors....none compare to this little work horse.

Pros:
best compact tractor on the market
Cons:
Should have bought one years ago!

I purchased my tractor to work my 45 acre farm. Mowing, tilling, and moving dirt. So Far everything had been done with ease and satistaction. After 6 months of sitting in my open barn, i hit the starter this spring and the tractor roared to a start. I only used it 22 hours last year, but so far she is a work horse so to speak. I did have the bucket added and should have had fluid in the rear tires, extra weight when lifting large amounts of dirt. I will have this done. Obviously i am very hapy so far with the Mahindra performance.

Pros:
It does everything I ask it to do.
Cons:
None that I can speak about.

Review:

My father and I bought the Mahindra 5530 4WD for use on our 40 Acre hobby farm in Northern Idaho. After doing months of research on "comparable" tractors (New Holland, John Deere, Kubota, Case/IH, Montana etc...), we found that for the most bang for our buck the Mahindra was the way to go. First, the Mahindra is a heavier duty tractor. It came with the front loader and ready to work. All of the others, we would have had to "add" the extras. The only thing we added was the dual spindles for rear hydraulics. We also bought the Bison NHVH-242-XHD Rear Blade. One of the strongest rear hydraulic blades on the market. My dad grew up on John Deere equipment on a diary farm in Minnesota, I grew up using the same equipment...as hard as it was to go with another manufacturer, I do not regret it one bit! The warranty is awesome, the Buck at EFC was and still is the best salesman I have ever worked with. I had a John Deere 2010 and upgraded to my Mahindra 5530 4WD. Another plus, is that Mahindra is made in the U.S.A. it maybe owned by India, but they put them together in Georgia and Texas. JD tractors that are less than 100 horse are made in India and shipped here...You pay a lot of money for that infamous green and yellow paint...the paint doesn't do the work...save yourself the time and go with a Mahindra! If you are like me and strong minded and want to do the research, look at the specs of all comparable tractors, Mahindra will beat them all almost every time! I am getting a Kodiak 10' Pull Type Mower next and a Skidsteer Fork system...looking forward to making short order of my projects!!! I have used the snot out of my tractor and I am VERY PLEASED!!! Several larger ranch owners have come by to see my tractor and cannot believe how strong of a tractor it is and how well built everything is...to quote one of them, "This front loader makes mine look like it was built out of toothpicks...wanna trade?" I have used my tractor for grading my long road, pulling stumps, moving gravel, moving dirt for a road widening project, mowing, tilling, moving brush...you name it, I have probably done it. If you want to ask me any questions about my experience with my Mahindra, feel free to email me at deerklr@gmail.com. Trust me, after you waste your time doing all the research like my dad and I, you will end up seeing the Mahindra is the way to go. Why pay extra for the paint, when you can put that money towards attachments or a bigger tractor?!!

Pros:
Lift capacity of the front loader, lift capacity of the three point. Warranty and willingness of the company to stand behind their product. Weight of the tractor and ability of the engine to move the tractor and what you are pulling, towing, using etc... Location of all the controls and ease of operation. Strength of tractor, freaking work horse. Quality of craftsmanship.
Cons:
Cotter pin that holds throttle linkage pin in place is weak, needs to be beefed up or replaced with something stronger (bolt maybe?).

the big boy . heavy . solid . The geerbox and the way it shifts are great, nice and firm, crisp, the three speeds are smooth and well matched . The motor starts perfectley, and has tons of power ,( 65horse} the fit is good , the bucket is a little light it could be beefed up to make it stronger. but it will lift anything , lights are great and the dash is very nice . the only thumg they could do better is the paint , its thin and the tractor it self could better paint . the wheel paint is just a base coat and there is no clear coat over it . Other than that the tractor is awsome its a real bull . powerhouse and the geers are great ,

Best buy due to HP/Weight ratio and price. Have 400 hard hours and no troubles. Starts easily even when cold and very fuel efficient. This is a workhorse of a tractor.
Wish that there was a 5th gear in the low range to avoid having to stop and shift to hi/1st. The hi range seems to be geared too high. Only other complaint is the paint job, could be of better quality.

Pros:
Heavy built. Good price.
Cons:
Gear rations need refining, can't upshift on to go from 4th. Need better paint job. Gear shift levers are in the way. Access to battery and air filter is poor.

I have had my 2615 for about a year now, no issues to speak of. I only have about 60 hrs on it now, had the first service done at the dealership. I have used it year round on my 13 acres doing everything from mowing with a bush hog in the woods, our pasture, my lawn, moving brush, logs, dirt, trees, stumps, snow, gravel, etc, with the loader and the 4-wheel drive is awesome. My only two regrets are not getting the hydrostatic tranny, and not getting the AG tires, although, I do like the stability the industrial tires give me on the hills/mountain trails on our property. I bought it at Tractor pros in St. Albans, WV, everything was great there from service to the sales process when I bought it.

Used this tractor with a 3pt Auger to place wood post fencing, using 8" and 12" bits in WV hill country. Tractor never had a issue at my farm, even on step banks. At another farm ran into heavier shale and ran out of power to both sink the bit and recover the bit, but still completed the job. Also used a 6ft Box Scraper to level a site for building, tractor accomplished the job but possibly easier with a hydrostatic transmission. Both of the above jobs were done with a new tractor and little experience with running this tractor. Using the tractor to move snow using the 6ft payloader is effortless. Filled Ag tires set full width out, tractor is stable on banks regardless of application. Mowing with a 6ft Rear Discharge finish deck is effortless and more comfortable than any mower I've used. Overall, at 50 hours, could not be more pleased. Owned a nice, subcompact tractor from major manufacturer with hydrostatic transmission, 48" payloader 480# lift, 48" boxscraper, and 5ft center mower deck, 22HP, it would roll over with the payloader at maximum height empty, this tractor is stable even with a 6' bucket full of snow.

Pros:
Love the control layout, everything works easily, great turning radius, set up with filled Ag tires at maximum width front and rear tractor is stable even with bucket full
Cons:
Only 28 HP, could use more lift on the Payloader, but overall, for light duty farm use, can't beat it.

Everywhere I went I found subcompact after subcompact and didnt want an oversized lawn mower.Ive put this tractor to the test and it refuses to give up,also I dont think you can run this damn thing out of diesel. I am impressed with my Mahindra 3215. I am using it to bushhog my nine acres and others, put in a field for crops and to cut and dig out a nine foot deep by a hundred foot side of a hill for our future home, besides all the menial chores a small farm needs.
The 4wd on this land is needed for the creek beds that I cross would bog down my 4wd truck, but not my little Mahindra 3215. It goes right through.
The lifting capacity of the front loader is also impressive. While lifting materials that what I thought would exceed the lifting capacity limits, this tractor would either lift it, or lift the back wheels off he ground with implements on its back end. I know it lifted some 1500lb+ of metal some three to four feet of the ground. WHOW. Try that with a John Deere…yea.
The only problem I had was a leaky hydraulic connection at the front end loader, that the dealership handled after bringing it to their attention a couple of times.
I only have three suggestions that if fixed would the 3215 PERFECT.
One, I wish Mahindra would use U.S. standardized common front light bulbs instead of small 25 watt bulbs from China that cost 27 dollars each,,,oooch. Both of mine went out with in a month. So instead of waiting weeks for the dealership to get them in and I needed them that week, I purchased two off road 55 watt halogen lights at the local auto parts store that can get replacement bulbs for under ten dollars and mounted them on the hood.
Two, if Mahindra would put a better sealer on the plastic fenders so they would not fade so fast and or supply some red paint to brighten up the look. JD guys around here made comment on this.
Three. A nice convenient cup holder somewhere around the seat. Wouldn’t that be the icing on the cake. Mmmmm

Pros:
The lifting capacity. 4wd capacity. Maneuverability. Easley maintenanced. GREAT service from dealership.
Cons:
Non U.S. standard front light nulbs, Use of plastic parts on fenders or seal them better or supply paint to customer. No cup holders

For years, all I thought of was buying a Kubota tractor. But this spring when I finally decided to buy one, I happened to go by a new tractor dealership that had opened up in my area.
After test driving and comparing the Mahinda 2815 to the Kubota 7800, I bought the Mahinda. A heavier tractor with a much greater loader lifting capacity plus a really great dealer with great financing!
Actually my wife wanted me to get the 2815 (I wanted the 2516) becauce it come with a loader and a Woods backhoe. So all summer long, I have been cutting down oak trees, diging out the stumps and spreading loam for her new flower garden(s).
This winter I plan on using it clear the snow off the 300' driveway on our 5 acre lot. I may get a rear mounted snowblower if Santa can get it down the chimney!!

Pros:
Tractor weight, hp, loader lifting capacity, great financing
Cons:
Like all compact tractor, front head light location (have mount two on roll bar), NO CUP HOLDER!!! Had to make my own.

was looking for a tractor as a upgrade for my old 8n.so far I've put about 30 hours on the machine with no problems,it will do any thing I was able to do with the 8n +, including pulling a two bottom plow,I had to remove the loader for traction reason as its very light in the rear end.You can remove and reinstall the loader very easily ,so for plowing or disking food plots or a garden its not really a big deal, for any serious loader work you will need to load the rear tires or add a weight box to the 3 point, not only for traction but for stability as it gets a little tippy. the only real complant I have is the cheap-o small plastic tool box behind the seat and lack of a cup holder, other than that it is a very strong capable machine that I would highly recomend

Pros:
user friendly ,strong solid machine

small weak tool box,no cup holder, needs rear wheel weights for serious loader work

Extremely satisfied so far. It is very compact, easy to manage. The loader is tight and has a ton of lifting power or rather half ton. The 5 foot rotary cutter cuts through high grass as well as a 4500 that I also own. It turns on a dime. The mitsibushi engine is very efficient and quiet. I even like the gear shift better than the shuttle shift on my 4500. The two stage clutch is very easy to get used to. It is very easy to get on and off because of no clutter, all gears to the side. I gave my Mahindra 6000 a 5 out of 5 rating because it has never disappointed me. I use it for cutting hay, raking hay, and square baling hay. It also has no problem lifting 5 x 6 foot round bales (one in front and one on the back). I bought this tractor new in 2005 and I now have over 550 hours on it. The only thing I have had to do to the tractor is change the oil and filters and add diesel. It is also the most fuel efficient tractor I own. I would however like to see the hydraulics operate a little faster, but for the cost of the tractor I definately got more than I paid for.

Pros:
Pleanty of power, fast on road, no mechanical problems, comfortable to drive, fuel efficient
Cons:
slower hydraulics than some other brands the same size, only one hydraulic remote standard, battery compartment is very difficult to get to

I chose the 2816 4wd w/ loader because the compact design fit my needs and sharp turns and small gates. The one job it won't do is move large round bales of hay. I knew that when I bought it. I have built a dolly for that. It will, however "roll" a bale up a ramp onto a trailer. The fuel economy is great, and power sufficient for what I do. I already had 4' equipment and that was another factor in my choice. I maintain, and run cattle and horses on about 20 acres. I know there are many more small farmers out there like me who may have existing equipment, small trailers, 1/2 ton trucks, etc. This size tractor will do anything you have to do under normal conditions and do it without your having to upsize other equipment. You will probably never spend enough on custom work from bigger tractors or dozers to warrent spending the extra money for a bigger tractor, not to mention the wear and tear you won't have to absorb. Hardly any plastic on this tractor which caught my eye right away. The power steering is the best of any vehicle I've ever driven, not just tractors. If you have health issues this alone will sell the tractor.I have about 20 hrs. on the unit now and am extremely happy with it.

Pros:
Accessable from both sides with loader. 9 gears give a wide range of power vs speed options.
Cons:
the foot throttle is a little close and uncomfortable for taller people.

This happens to be my second Mahindra. I previously owned a 2015. I put about 130 hours on it and decided I needed a little more tractor so I upgraded. The 2015 is a tough tractor for its size. I have owned this tractor over a year now with roughly 5525 2WD hours to date. I believe this is a great machine. I own 6 acres and mow much of it. Unfortunately most of the property is fairly steep hillside. I love the stability and maneuverability. You can not go wrong buying this tractor.

Pros:
Price, maneuverability, stability, power.
Cons:
More articulation with the front axle. A few issue with the 3 point linkage. Awful low speed in reverse, my biggest peeve.

I researched tractors for apprx. 2 months before finally buying the Mahindra 3215 HST 4 Wheel Drive tractor with the ML 111 front-end loader and a fiberglas sun canopy So far its main use has been the rotary cutting of a 15-acre field of tough wild mustard weeds 3-feet high and assortment of native California weeds and juniper bushes I used a 3-point
40 hp 5-foot rotary cutter made by Kodiak Manufacturing. The beasty little Mahindra sailed through this tangled mass like mowing a lawn. There are several excellent features on this tractor, but the el supremo one is the hydrastatic transmission eliminating the tedious task of constantly meshing gears. The Mahindra engineers have done their homework on this one and their dealer prices are astonishing. One operating problem I encountered was the freqiemt accumulation of weed seeds, fine husks, and field debris on the radiator screen. When it gets too clogged, the engine becomes very hot; so you have to watch the temperature gauge, stop the tractor, and clean off the screen. But, without the screen, the radiator would be quickly clogged and very difficult to clean off.

Pros:
Great tractor for my needs at a fantastic price. Nothing on the current market comes close to this bargain. Great transmission and 4 wheel drive Controls easy to reach and operate and the vital statistics on the gauges are easy to read. The 3-cylinder Mitsubishi diesel engine is powerful and quiet.
Cons:
There isn't anything about this tractor that I don't like. I still can't figure out how Mahindra can make such an awesome tractor for the money. Buy it, you'll like it.

We purchased our tractor for the purpose of finishing our property after building a new home on three acres. In the short period we have owned the machine, we have managed to start leveling the yard with the box blade. We use the loader to spread dirt and plan to use the brush hog for clearing the bottom two acres this fall. The 2816 we purchased fits a standard 7' garage opening with out having to lower the roll over bar. So far, we have been very pleased and will add some additional reviews later this year. I would recommend to anyone considering a compact tractor to visit the dealer in Republic MO and test drive a Mahindra before you look at the other brands. They know their tractors!

Great Tractor. I purchased it to maintain 5 acres. It has plenty of power. Very easy on fuel consumption. I have put 55 hours on the tractor in 23 months. Only thing I would change is PTO lever. It can disengage easily.

I recommend this tractor to anyone who wants a good solid tractor without all the bells and whistles. I miss the live PTO and would like to someday get a FEL but the 3325 isn't desgined for either.

Pros:
Good solid value for money
Cons:
No live PTO and PTO lever can disengage too easily.

I have had the tractor for 2 full years. Great tractor for the money. No problems what so ever. The only problem is that the rear lug nuts came loose – but I noticed that. I use this tractor on extreme hill sides. Make sure you widen the tires all the way – feels much more stable. I have a 7 foot tiller, bush hog mower, blade, sprayer. Nothing is a problem. I strongly recommend the 4wd for hills. Love the 5200 – 10,000 RPM capability, this tractor just feels like it is made well. Just look at the frame that the loader is on. I have not filled the tires, but they can use it. If you are doing heavy loader work on a downward grade – it can raise your back tires. Simply put, you will not an equivalent value of tractor without paying 10-15,000 more. Mine was delivered within a couple of days. Gathman ag was great to deal with.

Pros:
what you get for the money. this is a full sized tractor - compared to a mid sized tractor that you will get from a competitor

Review:

We purchased a 5525 to do general work around our aerodrome (mowing runway grass and doing general field work). We had to order it in as 2 wheel drive tractors are not very popular and we had to wait a few months for it.

So far we are very pleased with the tractor; it has more than enough power for the mowers and implements that we use; and it is easy and safe to use by our personnel. It starts easily even on very cold mornings and is fuel efficient. On top of that, we found that the purchase price was most competitive.

Our local dealer (Bar T5) has been most helpful throughout the purchasing process. They gave us good advice, were friendly, and sold us only what we needed. While not the biggest equipment dealer, Bar T5 is, in our opinion, one of the best.

We did have some problems initially with the fuel injection system but this was sorted out by our dealer in a prompt and efficient manner.

This tractor has more than met our expectations. This is a real farm tractor - not a glorified light duty acreage unit. It is built to last a lifetime. If you are looking for a substantial 2 wheel drive tractor, look no further!

Pros:
Value, power, quality of manufacture, and ease of use. Good tractor, and good local dealer.
Cons:
None so far.

I was looking at a few other brands when the 4530 caught my eye... I first started using implemts that you would think you would use with a 45 hp tractor.. I learned quickly that they were too small.. I now mow with a 7 foot pull behind mower.. (I have used a 15 foot batwing a few times, low range 2nd gear) I just plowed my hay field of 15 acres with a 4 bottom plow. I pull a 10 foot disc..when you hear what this tractor can do, it sounds like it's all made up.. Well let me tell you.. This little Ol, tractor will work as hard as you. this is not the 45 horse tractor to just load on that little hunting trailer and haul to the deer lease... it's big and heavy, and ready to work....

Pros:
don't have to add water to the tires,, super strong loader. and so so so fun to keep up with them big deeres.
Cons:
I have had a few problems with the 3 point.. the draft control pin has stuck so the 3 point will not lift..

The Tractor has performed flawlessly. I have put my 4110 with the front loader in some tough situations that most would not consider putting their tractor into. The tractor has never let me down. I compared the 4110 to the JD990 and Kubota before I purchased. I have been very satisfied with my choice. I purchased my tractor with Agricultural tires for more grip and traction(I would still recommend the ag tires over the industrial tires). If you plan to do any plowing, digging or go into any wet area you will definitly need to use 4wd with industrial tires. I know 2 people which bought 4110s with ind. tires and 3 people that bought 3510s with ind. tires. They all have to use 4wd to do any plowing or digging. Regardless of which tires you choose, the 4110 and 3510 tractors will meet or exceed all of your expectations. I would like to have a dealer that could sell caps, jackets, key chains, filters and maybe parts/repair manuals ect. in case you want to perform some maintainance yourself someday.

Pros:
very dependable, comfortable and stylish

As a landscape contractor, I operated many different brands of compact utility tractors. Back then, there was no Mahindra dealer in my area, and the brand was unheard of around these parts. When I retired, I decided I needed to own a tractor to manage my ten rugged acres.

I had tested Kubota, too small for the money, John Deere, too much money for the HP I needed, and New Holland, not enough tractor for the money. I

I had become discouraged and decided a new tractor was not to be had. Until, one day on my way home from town, I noticed a local dealer was lining up a row of shiny red tractors. Previously they were not visible from the highway, and went unnoticed.

That was the day my search was rewarded, and the unexpected surprise reached out and grabbed my attention. I was so pleased to find a HST tractor with such a heavy duty frame, power steering, infinite speed, three range transmission, great ergonomics, and at a very competitive price; with great financing rates.

At 275 hours, I have absolutely no regrets, and would recommend the 15 series to anyone wanting a superior tractor, with no flaws.

Pros:
More weight compared to other brands in the same horse power range. Reliable Mitsubishi built work horse. It has proven to be one of Mahindra's top performers. The HST makes for an operator's dream, especially when doing loader work.
Cons:
The only con? Can't think of anything. Thanks Mahindra.

Great tractor. I have owned for over a year now and it has done everything that I have asked it to. Idle was a little low and was causing charging problems, but after adjustment it works just fine. Other than that, there have been zero issues with this tractor. Easy maintenance and operation with every lever and switch clearly marked. Easily towed behind a 2004 Dodge Ram 1/2 ton truck. If it had a 2-stage clutch, it would be almost perfect, but the built in overrun clutch is almost as good.

Pros:
Easy maintenance and operation, tows and trailers well, 13 gallons of fuel seems to last forever!
Cons:
Single stage clutch.

I bought my tractor Sep06 and use it almost on a daily basis. This tractor is worth every $. The weight, the performance, lifting capacity etc. everything you need or looking for is in this tractor. It is funny, but I also named my tractor “Tank” and believe me this is no understatement. I use the tractor on a farm with 43 acres and since I had the reactor I had no problem what so ever.

I bought my 4530 4WD with a loader, and the only minus point is that the loader if operated in cold conditions (0F) is a little bit stubborn. It could be that the hydraulic oil is the wrong type for this kind of temperatures.

But all in all I can recommend this tractor to anybody. Be aware this is not a “SISY” tractor; it is a “Tank”

Pros:
To many to list.

loader operations below 20F are poorly

I purchased my first Mahindra tractor in 1999. It was a 4505DI 2WD. It was a great tractor with absolutely no problems. That was the main reason I purchased another Mahindra. I wanted 4WD so I went with the 4530 4WD. Let me tell you, this tractor is a beast! Everything about it is massive! No plastic fenders here. Mahindra put a lot of thought into the design. All the controls are right where you need them and the operators area is very spacious. Last but not least, this tractor is just downright GOOD LOOKING! I catch myself in the barn just staring at "Tank". Yes, I named my tractor. It's kind of a bonding thing! I've owned my 4530 just over 60 days now and I'm already mounting up the hours. By the way, I studied on Kubota and Deere but Mahindra is definitely more bang for the buck. This is a very, very solid tractor and once again I am completely satisfied.

Sincerely,
Perry Tuminello

I purchased my Mahindra 2015 4WD in November of 2006. It came with the ML104 Loader, and I had the R4 tires loaded from the dealer.

I looked at alot of different tractors. I was comparing tractors of similar size. Most tractors the size of the 2015 are 23 or 24 horsepower. DON'T let the 20HP rating fool you. It truly is more tractor than you would think. It weighs over 1800lbs, without the loader. One thing I was set on was a gear drive unit, and not a hydrostatic. (just personal preference and a couple more horsepower at the PTO)

The first thing that caught my eye about the 2015 was the nice fit & finish, the seriously beefy looking frame, and front axle. The Mitsubishi engine was a definite plus. I was impressed with the lift rating of the 3 point hitch, as it is considerably higher than most if not all other makes in it's class.

So far, in almost 200 hours, I've done everything with this tractor from Backhoe work, blowing snow, and dragging cars out of snow banks, to dragging trees, and even using the loader to lift my Cub Cadet lawn tractor to change the blades! It has yet to disappoint me.

I like to do all service and maintenance myself. And this machine is very straight forward, and simple to service. It took less than an hour to do the 50 hour service.

If I had any complaints, (if you can even call it that) I wish the cycle time on the loader lift and curl was a little faster. I'd like the loader to lift a little higher, and also a 54 inch bucket would be nice as opposed to the 48 inch. A live PTO would be nice, as opposed to the tranmission PTO, but for what I do, it wasn't really necessary. (The HST model has a Live PTO)

Basically, I am impressed, and very pleased with this tractor. The price was much less than any other comparable machine. I would recommend anybody in the market to consider one.

Pros:
Good Price. Very heavy duty, nice looking. High lift capacity. In my opinion, the best "bang for the buck"
Cons:
Loader a little slow. Bucket a little small. (both tolerable)

I bought a 2615 HST after a lot of research. A couple of influencing factors were the manufacturing quality and the value that you got from your hard earned dollar. Mahindra was new in my area and not many people had heard of them but after looking at many of the other brands I decided on Mahindra and have not been disappointed.

The tractor starts and runs even in the coldest winter climate here in upstate NY with no preheater required. Th tractor is very forgiving for being submerged nose first into my pond. After removing the injectors and clearing the cyclinders of the water that the tractor had sucked up it started and runs like it never had been bathed the hard way. I give it a 4 out of 5 because of 2 reasons. First, the HST transmission while easy for the beginner to use eliminates any possibility that you can use differential braking to get you out of a tight spot. This is dues to the fact that the pedal that activates forward and reverse motion is also on the same side as the brake pedals.

The second is that when you have the front bucket on the front of the tractor with some weight in it the rear tires get very light. Without counter weight on the back i.e. a brush hog or weight box, your braking and traction are greatly diminished.

I love my Mahindra tractor and enjoy it's reliability. I am considering an upgrade to the 4530 in the spring.

Pros:
Excellent all around reliability and ease of maintenance. Solid construction.
Cons:
HST transmission eliminates ability to use differential braking. Loss of traction and braking with front bucket attached and no counter weight on rear of tractor.

I purchased the 2415HST tractor with a loader and am very well pleased. This unit has plenty of engine power for small and medium jobs and trmendous hydraulics for the loader attachment. I'm rating this unit as 4 out of 5 only because the reverse speed could be a bit faster. I looked at many brands of tractors for 2 months. Mahindra won my purchase because of the warranty, unit weight and lift capacity. I use this unit on our farm for numerous jobs. My 90HP tractor stays parked more now than it ever has and with fuek prices as high as they are I am proud of my Mahindra.

I purchased the 3525 to replace my tired 1952 Ford 8N. I was looking for a tractor with more horsepower than my 8N, but that was still small enough to use the implements that I already owned. After tractor shopping for about 3 years, and looking at all the brands and all the models in the 30-35hp range, I finally decided that the 3525 fit my requirements best.

I wanted a heavy, solid tractor, gear drive, with minimal electronics to cause problems 10-20 years down the road. I wanted a front end loader, and power steering, live PTO and live hydraulics... I wanted basically everything that the 8N didn't have! And, I wanted it all at the best price possible.

As of the time I'm writing this, I've got 50 hours on my tractor, which I think is enough time to get a pretty good feel for the tractor, and it's strengths and weaknesses. I've done everything from clearing brush to digging dirt to dragging logs out of the woods to mowing the yard with it so far.

As far as performance, I'm completely satisfied with the 3525. While using my 5ft brushhog, going through areas that would kill the 8N dead in it's tracks only cause the 3525 to grunt a little bit. I have no doubt that it would handle a 6ft brushhog equally well. This tractor seems to have much more power than it's 27 rated PTO horsepower would lead you to believe. The ML230 front end loader is rated at 2500 lbs lift capacity, and I dont' think it would have any problems at all doing it, if not more. And, it's fairly quick and quite smooth to operate as well. The power steering is just superb. The power steering pump can keep up with you, no matter how fast you turn the wheel, even at lower engine RPM's, even with a bucket full of rock. I can't praise it highly enough. The 3 Point Hitch is powerful, and operates smoothly, which is important when using implements such as a box blade. It even has draft control, which is useful when using a plow or disk harrow.

Even though this is a 2WD tractor, it performs quite well with the front end loader. Digging a bucket full of dirt is no problem, even without having the rear tires loaded, and nothing on the back for counterweight. That's the benefit of a heavy tractor. Before I bought the tractor, I was planning on having the rear tires loaded, but, the more I use it, the more I don't think it's going to be necessary. It does quite well without the loaded tires, and even better by just putting an implement on the back, like the box blade or brushhog, which I normally have on the back anyway. So far, I haven't missed 4WD at all.

That's my highlights on the tractor, and I've only got a couple minor gripes with it, which I'll list below.

Overall, I'm 99.5% satisfied with my Mahindra 3525, and I'd highly recommend it to anyone looking for a good strong basic tractor. I don't think you can find more tractor per dollar anywhere than the Mahindra 3525.

Pros:
Power, high torque reserve. Live PTO Superb power steering, good hydraulic performance with the front end loader and 3pt Hitch. Excellent traction and pulling power even without 4WD. Gear ratios are almost perfectly spaced, with no "gaps". You can always find a gear that gives you the proper groundspeed for the job at hand. Strong brakes. Hood tilts forward for easy access to the engine.
Cons:
Engine oil dipstick is rather difficult to access with front end loader installed. Right side floorboard could be a little roomier... I keep getting my right shoe caught when climbing off of the tractor.

After running a 1978 JD for years and being very happy with it I was ready for a new tractor to mow and farm with in the Mississippi delta. A friend with extensive farming and mechanical background had purchased a new 45HP Mahindra in 2005 and could not say enough good things about it. After shopping for several weeks in the spring of 2007 I purchased a 65HP 4WD Mahindra. I have used it for several months now and could not be happier with the tractor. It is heavy but very quick for its size. It has performed flawlessy to this point. I am just waiting for Mahindra to delelope a 4WD in the 90 HP class with cab/air to purchase an additional unit. Mahindra has made a believer out of me.

We worked this tractor as soon as it was delivered,we do around 65 acres of hay,we use a NH 273 kicker baler pulling steel kicker wagons.Wagons fully loaded this tractor seems to have all the power we need to have.with this weight the 6000 tractor also has pleanty of brakes to stop this load.
My 6000 also has a ML260 loader, which has a large loader bucket for a tractor of this size.
This tractor is also very easy on fuel,at todays fuel prices this is a big plus.

Pros:
Good tractor for the price, good on fuel

Mahindra looks like a hell of a lot better deal than I have now. Once again: Stupid; you could have owned a Mahindra for the same price. Signed: Sorrowful in Virginia.

Pros:
I have not actually bought a Mahindra. I bought a Nortrac tractor that is dangerous to drive, hard to operate, does not do the jobs I need it to do, The simplest of maintenance problems take days (or months) to fix. All I can say to myself is, Stupid, You could have had a Mahindra for the same price. Hey Mahindra Guys; wouldn't want to take a trade in would you? Only has 10 hours of operation. Hardly used at all.

I have had this tractor for almost a year now, and thought that I should write a review. (Almost a year now because it took 90 days for shipping) The $23,000 is for the tractor only, the loader was $5,600 including hydraulic self leveling 84" bucket. This tractor has been great. It loads the bucket very good (full) without any problems. Pulls a 2200 lb offset disc fine. When using an 8' rear blade, 7' rollover Gannon, or 7' Road Boss road scraper the 7520 does not even know that they are back there. I have all heavy duty implements and would not recommend anything else be used without great caution. I would recommend that the tires be filled. The self leveling loader should probably only be purchased if you are doing a lot of fork lift work (just my opinion). I would put this tractor up against any other tractor in its class. I could not find any other tractor that is as good all around, or for the money. (and I looked for 2 years) I'm not saying it isn't there, just not very prominent.

Pros:
powerful drive train, excellent ergonomics, large flat platform, extremely comfortable seat, looks good, great overall design
Cons:
only comes in red

I was not disappointed when I spent 6 hours the first evening pushing down small trees up to 5 inches and clearing land that had not been touched in years. Price included the loader and 64" PUMA snowblower. Mainly used on 3 properties for all purpose use. Clearing lots, moving logs, landscaping, snow plowing, blowing and removal, moving trailers around yard etc. I have made my own clamp on forks, 3pt. 2" reese style hitch, 7 1/2' plow attachment for front, cab, added driving lights on top of cab, work light in rear. Also have rake and backblade. I would recommend this tractor to any homeowner who has a few acres to maintain.

Pros:
Ease of operation, plenty of leg room, good control location

This being the first CUT I've ever owned/operated, I don't have much to compare to. My only experience on on the old Ford 8N my dad used to have and the newer Ford 5900 that he has now. I've been very impressed with the Mahindra so far. I decided to check out the Mahindras after a wildlife biologist/forester friend of mine recommended the brand. He has 2 or 3 4100's in his fleet that he uses daily in his consulting business. With access to Dad's 72HP Ford, I wanted something smaller in 4WD that I could get down in the woods with. I had read lots of good reviews of the 15 Series (both with the Mahindra badge and when they were carried by Cub), so I decided to check them out. It basically came down to a decision between the 2615 HST, 2615 4WD, and the 3015 HST. After driving them all, and considering the price differences, I chose the 2615 4WD.

After 20 hours on the tractor (~10 hours loader work, ~5 hours mowing with 5' KK rotary cutter, ~2 hours dragging a homemade chain link harrow and using a PTO powered spreader/seeder, and the rest of the time spent just putting around), I'm very pleased with it and am longing to get more seat time. The only issues I've had so far is that I lost an E-clip off of one of the loader arms where the bucket attaches. Luckily, the pin was still in place and it was only a 25¢ fix. Also lost a retaining clip on the pin that holds the drawbar in place. I'm assuming this was pulled free by some vines that I was working in. Again, it was a cheap fix to replace it.

I'll update this review after I get a few more hours and perform the 50 hour service.

Pros:
Heavy and powerful in a small package. Very maneuverable in the woods even with FEL attached. Appears to be a solid workhorse.
Cons:
Hydraulics a bit slow, but quite usable. Needs rear work lights.

I bought this tractor to pile cut cedar and to mow. Some of the cedar is up to 20 inches in diamenter at the base and I have not regretted getting this machine as it has delivered on everything I have asked it to do. I have had one issue with the PTO. It failed to work after I had not used it for about 80 hours. I found the culprit to be a solenoid that gets stuck and needs to be reset and silicone sprayed. Doing this took care of the problem. Easy fix. I really like the flat platform since I'm on and off this tractor a lot throughout each working day. I would like to see the FEL a little stronger but it has worked for me and I have not babied it.

Power, overall layout

headlights, shift gear rubs leg in H range

I bought my Mahindra 4110 in July 2004 with R-4 tires, FEL w/QA system, 72" bucket and pallet forks for a total price of $19,800.
I now have a little over 20hrs on it spent mostly hauling dirt to fill and level out an old house foundation. I am very impressed with the ability of this tractor, the only thing I noticed is the rear end gets a little light with a full bucket so either loading the rear tires or keeping a ballast box or heavier implement on the 3pt is advisable. As soon as I hooked up my 3pt scoop the tractor was very solid and stable.
I really like all the features that come standard on this unit like rear hyd. remote, draft control, tilt steering, suspension seat, folding armrests, etc... The one thing I don't like is the placement of the fuel tank/filler neck behind the seat. Its difficult and awkward to reach and fill especially when pouring from a can and really restricts your vision of the hitch area directly behind the tractor.
The only problem I've had is a small hydraulic leak on the loader joystick where the quick connect fitting threads into the valve body. While I feel this was a warrenty issue I couldn't see making my dealer drive 40 miles for a 10 cent O-ring that took me 15 minutes to replace, but I did call him about it, however this kind of problem could happen to any brand.
Overall I am very pleased with the price and features of my tractor and would recommend a Mahindra to anyone.

Pros:
Plenty of power, Lots of standard features, very heavy duty
Cons:
Fuel tank location

i spent a lot of time shopping for this tractor, my first. the closest dealer to me is 3 miles and they are great but they dont sell mahindra tractors, it would have been very convenient for me to buy from them. i tried to talk myself into it but mahindra just looked more heavy duty and the price was better. i got a 4500 2wd, ml260 fel, 6' mohawk brave shredder, 6' box blade, and a 16' trailer for $17895.00, the competetion wanted that much for just the tractor and loader, speaking of the loader, the ml260 is stronger looking than the others and the subframe look like it belongs on a tank or bulldoser. one more thing the 4500 comes with a set of remote valves, it wasnt standard equitment on the others in the same hp range. i now have 49 hours on it and i am very happy with my choise.

Pros:
very stable with heavy load in front end loader, very heavy 3 point hitch adjustable on both sides, easier to steer than any automobile
Cons:
need a 20' gooseneck and a 3/4 ton truck to haul it.

Had Mahindra two weeks and already 30 hours on it. Size, manueverabilty, driving, shifting, FEL joy stick, all well placed but yet, nothing in the way as rubbing leg while trying to shift etc. Been zero or near zero counting wind chill factors and tractor starts instantly. I allow it to idle at least fifteen minutes before operating. The FEL roll, down and up is extremely slow. I can live with it, however it should be three times faster than what it is doing presently. The hoe part, a Bradco 511, 11'2" digging depth, is totally awesome to say the least. Plumbed into the tractors 8gpm open center circuit and using a diverter valve. It too, is kind of slow. However, I want this end to be slow purposely. Of the almost 30 hours, 19 of them are hoe related. It is powerful, has great reach for dumping spoil (14ft), anti swing lock and boom lock. This 511 is the same hoe as on the l48 Kubota. (Or so I'm told). I got it w/24" HD bucket. Pulled rocks from 8ft down 1/2 the size of the 72" FEL. Roll the bucket, pull a little on dipper and drag the rocks on out. No dead pulls or the like. I would recommend a Bradco regardless of tractor color or size. Mounting, dis-mounting hoe section is near impossible. Once seated, there is plenty of leg room, movement room. Controls are easy and well laid out. Have a relief valve to slow hoe swing. I have it turned so low, breathing on the valve will shut it down from swinging. Again. I want slow hoe movements.(Bradco/Mahindra can work on welded steps incorporated into frame. The hoe hangs on it's own sub frame, (huge) ending at the FEL mount point in front. Very easy to remove, and leaving plenty of room for any three pt hitch attachment.
I bought a new Fisher plow blade, drilling holes 5/8 through FEL bucket. Grade 8 bolts fed up through plow blade through bottom of bucket, using lock nuts top side. A great cutting edge and more so, saving the bucketr from premature wear and tear. 7 bolts holding the plow blade on and the blade protrudes one inch past each end, total 74 1/2 inches. Dealer, Johnson automotive, added a set of floods facing front and another facing rear which are bolted to custom brackets under top side of rops bar. They also added 3 X 4 angle iron to stiffen top edge of FEL bucket, then welded lift hook in center. Over all fit, finish and paint is superb. Tractor is jsut the right size for most jobs. Mahindra "got it together" as far as 41 hp diesel engine. 12/12 shuttle shift. Great ergonomic layout gauges, levers, etc. Not a loud tractor while operating. As all others on TBN net complain about Mahindra's headlight system. It's true, there next to useless. That is why I asked the dealer to mount two sets of floods. Glad I did now. I now question if I should have gone with the new 55 hp model and bigger hydraulics. It was a tough decision to either buy the 4110 which was in stock or wait until who knows when for a 55 hp 4 X4 model. Remember the long shoreman strike in California? How does that strike effect delivery?
Over all, minus hard to mount soe seating area and headlights, I would recommend the Mahindra 4110 to anyone. I run a JD710 hoe almost daily and hourly. To compare this Mahindra to the big boys and for size, power, and what you can expect apples to apples, you can't go wrong with Mahindra. They're dealer support and main office support is exemplary to say the least.

Pros:
easy manuevering, everything important within easy reach and yet not bothersome
Cons:
hard to mount back hoe section
