Review:When I saw the XTV, I knew it was exactly what I needed for my property. I liked that the tilt bed was standard, because with other manufacturers that's an option. The tilt bed is really handy when we're trimming trees; it's like a little dump truck. We've hauled all kinds of things in it when we are working around the property – tools, brush, even a bucket load of dirt.
One thing I like is that it's really powerful. I have a dirt pile that's really steep, probably a 70 percent grade. That XTV will walk right up it and never even change its rpm.
The XTV has two hitches standard, a receiver in the front and the back, and that is a nice feature. I have a little 5-by-8 flatbed trailer I pull with the XTV.
My wife loves it. The first day I had it, she operated it while we were trimming trees and she was like a dump truck operator. She didn't have any experience with it. I just showed her how to put it in gear, what button to push, and that was it.
Review:I chose the Mahindra because it has good clearance [12 inches] and it is very roomy in the cab. It has three seats instead of two like most side-by-sides have. It also has bigger tires than other brands [27" ATV tires on 14" aluminum wheels].
The bed is wider than on the Kubota I used to own, so you can haul more stuff – more hunting gear or tools. I looked at several brands before buying the Mahindra, including the Kawasaki Mule, Honda, and Ranger.
I liked that it came standard with two hitches because I will use it for towing. It's nice having the capability to put the hitch in the front. I like that feature.
Overall, I felt the Mahindra offered the most value for the price
"The maneuverability is good. The loader is great. It actually had very tight turning radius for a 4 wheel drive. For loader work, that shuttle shift is a great feature, because you can go forward and back in any gear. The fact that it doesn't have the DPF system, means no down time, which is great."
A Great Little Tractor
Kevin L. - Colorado Springs, CO
"It performed really well. The hydrostatic drive is really smooth. The power steering was nice, because it was easy to spin it around and not have to work at is. It's a good little tractor. Overall it's heavy enough to do what it needs to do. It functions very well."
It Has Never Let Me Down
Janeth T - Floresville, TX
"I can lift just about anything with my tractor, it has never let me down. I wanted to take care of my own land, without my Mahindra I couldn't have done it. I would definitely recommend it."
Mahindra Helps Me Connect to My Land
Charlene S. - Christiana, TN
"Out of all the tractors, this was the most user friendly. I needed to be able to hook up the implements myself, drive easily, and Mahindra fit that bill. Having a product that helps me connect to the land, makes me feel good."
The Best Warranty
Diana T. - Morrisdale, PA
"We looked at different brands, and Mahindra had the best warranty. Our Mahindra makes every chore and every little job a lot easier."
A Joy to Own
Shaun M. - Lynnville, TN
“I chose my Mahindra because of the frame. As far as I can tell there’s nothing out there that beats it. It’s been a lifelong dream to work my own land. Mahindra works my land with no issues. It’s definitely a joy to own.”
Best in Its Class. Period
Brian - Lakeside, CA
“I chose Mahindra because it’s the best tractor in its class, period. It’s heavy and well built, and get’s the power to the ground. My Mahindra tractor helps me shape my property how I would like it to be.”
Review:This is a fantastic sub compact tractor that is very easy to operate and maintain. I researched Kubota BX and Deere 1025/26 and I felt I got more bang for my buck with the Max. All operating handles are in easy reach and hooking up t thee PTO and 3 point hitch is a breeze. I purchased the 202 loader and a Land pride finish mower as well. Excellent service was provided by Kris Liles at my Mahindra dealer at Straub International in Salina Ks.
